The BAISD has established an Arts Network to support and grow arts education in the Great Lakes Bay Region. All arts educators, artists, and arts organizations are invited to join the Network. The Arts Network partners with Michigan Arts Education and Instruction and Assessment (MAEIA), the Office of Academic Excellence, The Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, as well as many local organizations to provide content specific professional growth opportunities. Annually, the BAISD sponsors two all-day sessions scheduled in the fall and spring. Additional sessions and workshops are provided throughout the year. The annual district cost for both all day sessions and including lunch is $20 . The fall kick off event for he 2019-2020 school year will be held at the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio. The Marshall M. Frederick Art Museum and Studio 23 have also partner with us to offer workshops for SCECH credit. Please let us know if you organization would also like to partner with us to provide SCECH credit for workshops you host. The BAISD is proud to sponsor and support this innovative arts initiative.
