Scanograms

Students will arrange small, ready-made objects provided by the teacher in a creative composition in order to create a scanogram digital photograph that is visually pleasing and communicates an idea or an experience.
This assessment could be adapted for grades 5–8 by varying the complexity of the editing process and/or the artist reflection.

This is an analytic rubric. The column on the left shows the dimension that is being measured in the student’s performance.
