This interactive session explores how movement builds function, articulation, meaning, and expression for the whole person. Starting with brain-based movement strategies applicable to all subject areas, engaging in the creative process with arts standards, and landing in performance assessment, this session demonstrates how the brain and body work together to develop social-emotional skill-building, creative and critical thinking, and how to measure student growth authentically in the arts.
