Adding A New Character to a Script

Students will analyze a script—specifically, the characteristics and motivation of a key character. Students will then create a new character to support or impede the key character in some way and describe the new character and the actions he or she will take.

This item has been voluntarily field-tested by Michigan teachers with a non-representative sample of students.
