Drawing Your Favorite Weekend Activity

Students will use pencils and crayons to create an illustration of their favorite weekend activity from personal experience. They should fill the majority of the page, using a variety of color and incorporating details of the activity into the drawing.

This item has been voluntarily field-tested by Michigan teachers with a non-representative sample of students.

This is an analytic rubric. The column on the left shows the dimension that is being measured in the student’s performance.
