Evaluating a Performance Using a Rubric

Students will evaluate a performance using the criteria provided. Students will be evaluated based on the depth and accuracy of their evaluation and reflection.

It is suggested that the performance that will be evaluated by the students be a performance of the students themselves or of another school group. This will allow for the most thorough and applicable evaluation.

This item has not been field-tested by Michigan teachers.

These are analytic rubrics. The column on the left shows the dimension that is being measured in the student’s performance. The levels across the top row indicate the performance level in the dimensions. Occasionally all dimensions and performance levels are exemplified by multiple students in a single recording.
