Human and Nonhuman Characters

Students will demonstrate vocal and physical characterizations by improvising human and nonhuman characters. Students will work in pairs from a prompt card and will respond to side coaching by the teacher. The teacher will use a student checklist to rate elements of successful performance.

Students should have an understanding of improvising simple scenes. Students should be familiar with working in pairs and performing in front of their peers.
