Loud Colors/Loud Sounds—Soft Colors/Soft Sounds

Students will relate color to music. Students will listen to two different music selections, one loud and one soft, and respond to each selection through coloring with crayon. This assessment could be adapted for kindergarten and second grade.

This assessment uses a Teacher Scoring Checklist and not a rubric.

This item has been voluntarily field-tested by Michigan teachers with a non-representative sample of students.
