Telling My Story

Students will create either a solo or a duet that communicates an idea of personal significance. This piece will include a sequence of movements from at least one of the folk dances learned in class throughout the year. Using folk dance for this assessment is optional. If folk dance is used, include Question 5, Part 1.

This is an analytic rubric. The column on the left shows the dimension that is being measured in the student’s performance. The levels across the top row indicate the performance level in the dimensions. Occasionally all dimensions and performance levels are exemplified by multiple students in a single recording.
