Monkeys and Theatrical Elements

In a large group and in small groups, students will contribute to a dramatization of a song using choral reading, vocal expression, and movement. They will reflect on the experience by describing and identifying personal preferences of vocal expression with words, vocal expression with sounds, and movement elements of the dramatization.
The assessment will be scored using the rubric on page 8 of the Teacher Booklet.

There is no Student Booklet for this assessment.

This is an analytic rubric. The column on the left shows the dimension that is being measured in the student’s performance. The levels across the top row indicate the performance level in the dimensions. Occasionally all dimensions and performance levels are exemplified by multiple students in a single recording.
