Kinetic Sculpture Design

Kinetic Sculpture Design

Students will solve the problem of creating a kinetic sculpture, using the materials listed below. They will work with a few simple tools, with the goal of creating movement and balance using problem-solving abilities and skills with these common tools and materials.

This item has not yet been field-tested.

This is an analytic rubric. The column on the left shows the dimension that is being measured in the student’s performance. The levels across the top row indicate the performance level in the dimensions. Occasionally all dimensions and performance levels are exemplified by multiple students in a single recording.
